A Step Forward in Stack Testing- The MACH and GeoMag Series by Sfera Technology

Building on the success of the highly acclaimed and well-established MACH series, Sfera Technology completes its range of automatic isokinetic samplers with the new GeoMag Energy and GeoMag Plus models, redefining the standards of on-site efficiency.

Discover all the key features of our products, all of them always innovative and rigorously engineered to optimise industrial emissions monitoring in full compliance with current regulatory standards

Compact design

Extremely compact, these units feature a vertical-build design with no protruding elements, occupying minimal footprint on sampling platforms and inside transport vehicles.

The structure is engineered to guarantee robustness, ease of handling, and lightweight performance, with a reduced weight ranging between 10.5 kg and 14 kg depending on the model.

Revolutionary interface

The high-contrast TFT displays guarantee perfect visibility even under direct sunlight.

For the first time Sfera Technology introduce with the GeoMag series an INNOVATIVE and USER FRENDLY interface: a rotary selector that allows users to manage the entire sampling process with only three movements (Clockwise Rotation, Anti-Clockwise Rotation, and PUSH).

Uncompromising precision and versatility

Thanks to an extremely fast and precise electronic flow rate control, these instruments ensure optimal isokinetic conditions for sampling complex pollutants such as particulate matter (PM), PAHs/dioxins, PFAS, mercury, metals, and acids, including via side-stream sampling.

The versatility of the series also extends successfully to ambient air sampling, where the system maintains a constant flow by automatically compensating for pressure drops.

Units are available with 30 L/min or 50 L/min diaphragm pumps, or even 80 L/min rotary vane pump.

MACH Series: advanced technology and evolution

While the basic model requires an external manometer to allow the reading of temperature and pressure, the more advanced version named “EVOLUTION” features a built-in sensors card for the direct acquisition of the stack parameters.

The RS-485 serial bus communication allows direct adjustment of the set temperatures for the GHIBLI heated probe and filter box.

Furthermore, when a compatible flue gas analyser is connected to the sampler, the data will be used to recalculate the isokinetic flow rate based on the real-time fluctuations of O2 and CO2

IsoSensor Module

In the GeoMag series, flue gas pressure and temperature acquisition is managed by the external IsoSensor module.

Equipped with a magnetic mounting system, it can be hold in place on the instrument itself or near the probe, ensuring a stable, interference-free wired connection.

Data management

Sampling results are stored in the internal memory and can be viewed on the display. During sampling, the sensor log is recorded with a minimum frequency of 1 second. All data can be exported via a USB port in CSV and TXT formats.

Power autonomy for all requirements

The devices support mains power or an external POWERBANK featuring LiFePo4 batteries.

The true breakthrough is the GeoMag Energy model: an automatic isokinetic sampler with an integrated battery that covers a full working day, permanently eliminating the need for on-site electrical outlets.
